Aarti

Aarti is a Sanskrit word meaning “worship” or “offering”. In Hinduism, it refers to the ceremonial offering of incense, flowers, food, water, and light to the deities. Aarti is performed at different times of the day and night. There are different types of aarti including those dedicated to gods, goddesses, ancestors and others.
